Saint Michael College of Allied Health (SMCAH) is incorporated in Virginia as an educational institution. The College is certified by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to offer an Associate of Applied Science Degree and a Practical Nursing Program. Saint Michael College of Allied Health’s Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The College is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education, located at 7840 Roswell Road Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 30350 (http://www.council.org).
The College’s main campus in the District of Columbia houses both the Practical Nursing Program and the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing. These programs are licensed by the District of Columbia Higher Education Licensure Commission and approved by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing.
