International credentials
Credentials not in English must be translated and evaluated by an SMCAH-approved agency: Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or World Education Services (WES).
Program requirements

Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA
A.A.S. in Nursing
- Official high school transcript or GED
- Evolve Reach admission assessment: 75% reading, 70% math
- 27 credits of pre-nursing coursework for direct admission
- Transfer students: 2.5 GPA
- $75 application fee
Washington, DC
Practical Nursing Certificate
- Age 17 or older to apply
- Proof of high school education: diploma, transcript or GED
- Entrance scores: 76% reading, 70% math
- $75 application fee

Faculty review academic history, test results and references.

Notification and paperwork
Accepted applicants are notified in writing and return the signed application and $75 fee two weeks before classes start.
